Christine Marie Doyle (Stieb)

November 12, 1956 - January 13, 2017

Christine (Chris) Doyle was taken from this earth after a short battle with cancer on January 13, 2017 in Lafayette, CO, at the age of 60.

Chris is survived by her daughter and son in-law Jamie and Jared Deaguero, son Jeremiah Doyle, and 4 grand children, Alaysia Sena, Al Sena, Savayah Deaguero and Kaiyah Deaguero, her mother Virginia Stieb-Yahn, her brother and sister in-law Bob and Jodie Stieb, and her sister and brother in-law Lynne and Scott LeBlanc. She is preceded in death by her father Robert Stieb and husband Nick Doyle.

Chris was born on November 12, 1956, in Sterling, CO to Virginia and Robert Stieb. She graduated from Sterling High School in 1975 and then attended Northeastern Junior College and Western State College. While at Northeastern Junior College she met and married the love of her life Nick Doyle in 1976. Her children and grandchildren remember her as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Chris’ life revolved around family. Whether it was cruising a mountain road on the motorcycle with Nick, driving everywhere to attend one of Jeremiah’s many wrestling tournaments, all night Black Friday shopping with Jamie or watching her 4 grandchildren, traveling to Hawaii with her mother, or Europe with her sister, or making a pot of her famous green chile for dinner, as long as she was spending time with, or doing something for her family she was most happy. Chris also loved to archive all the wonderful moments of her family's’ life as she was an avid photographer and was always snapping pictures with her phone or 1 of her many cameras. She was also known to spend a lot of time taking her beloved dogs, Buddy, Stormy, or Ruger on long walks by the river.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, January 18, at Olinger Mortuary, 10201 North Grant St. Thornton, CO, from 3-6 PM. Services are scheduled for January 19th at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn, CO, with a reception to follow a the parish center. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Chris’ life. In leiu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chris Doyle Memorial Fund.
