Celina Marie was married to Jeffery Pitts on May 12, 1998 in Toledo Ohio and Russell Smith on 12-12-21 in Denver, Colorado.
She graduated from Central Catholic High School, then completed a degree in cosmetology. Celina Marie attended dental assistant school and then completed more schooling/training to become an Edda. She loved working for multiple dentistry's as she worked her way up to becoming an Edda. She loved learning new things in dental.
Celina Marie had her own catering business. She loved making food for her family and friends, and special events - Happiness is Homemade - She was most known for filling peoples bellys.
She lived in Toledo, Ohio until July of 2004 and lived the rest of her life in Metro Denver.
Celina Marie loved doing nails, especially for her closest friends and always had a nail desk ready to go in the basement of every home with the famous color red, "the shade of tomatoes". She never went without having her toes done.
Her favorite hobbies included gardening, thrifting, cookouts/camping, listening to her favorite music and dancing with her favorite girls. She loved concerts and attended many with her family and friends, She loved traveling and taking cruises and visiting the beach.
Celina Marie was an AVID football fan and loved the Detroit Lions and University of Michigan, GO BLUE!
She loved her pets and was always known for her chickens and ducks in her backyard. She was loving, creative, the best cook, Polish and PROUD of it, silly and funny. Celina Marie's favorite things were tomatoes and pickles. She was always dressed head to toe in Nike and you never found her out of the house without a pair of hoop earrings.
She was all about her family. Her daughters and grandkids were the thing that she was most proud of in her life. Including her grand puppies, Nala, Clover, Willow and Milo.
Celina Marie is survived by husband and best friend, Russell Smith; daughters, Marissa Manriquez (husband Daniel), Miranda Pitts (Briann), and Madilyn Pitts (Domonic); grandchildren, Connor, Jaxon, Isabelle and Carson; parents, Dennis Knappins, and Irene Ammerman (Robert); sister, Christy Knappins; and nephew, Ja'von White.
Preceded in death by her dzia dzia, Piotr Ryczko Busia Cecylia Ryczko (died 12-7-2002) and Grandma Isabelle Knappins (died 12-29-1999).
A funeral service for Celina will be held Thursday, 1-12-2023 at 12:22 at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St., Thornton. The family asks that you arrive at Noon and services will start at 12:22 on Celina's lucky numbers and birthdate. Also, the family has a special request that instead of wearing black, everybody please come in Blue or Michigan Colors (Maze and Blue).
A reception will follow the service at the Moose Lodge, 11449 York St., Northglenn, CO 80233.
