Caroline passed away after a long battle with kidney disease. She was preceded in death by her parents Christine Kay and Carl McClung, her husband’s James Piner and George Kay and a daughter Viola Christine Piner. She is survived by her children Karen Piner Geer and James E. Piner Jr. (Sarah), seven grandchildren and one great grandchild, and a sister Sue McClung Zinser (Dewell) and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff at Tru Community Care for their assistance during this time. A private memorial will be held in the future. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to Tru Community Care Hospice, 1950 Mountain View Avenue, Longmont, CO 80501.
