Carol was born September 29, 1955 in Englewood, CO, and passed away Monday, July 18, 2016, after fighting MS for many years.

She was a very beloved and dedicated wife of Ron Rath. She is survived by; her husband Ron, two sons Jason and wife Kerri, Jeffrey and wife Rose, five treasured grandchildren Allison, Payton, Madison, Jake, and Dane, her parents Chet and Anna Schmidt, and her sister Linda, husband Scott, and their family.

Carol worked for 28 years at the Thornton Wal-Mart. She loved the many people she worked with and the kind customers.

Carol was a hardworking, strong lady who loved her family and friends dearly. She loved spending time at her cabin in Red Feather, fishing and enjoying the mountains. She loved the holidays, decoration, and cherished time with her family. She enjoyed visiting craft fairs and buying special gifts for those her that were special to her.

Carol was an amazing wife, mother, and grandma; she will be truly and deeply missed.
