Carl Henry Mauter Jr.

Carl Henry Mauter Jr., beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2024, in Lafeyette, CO. He was born on April 24, 1947, in Denver, CO to the late Carl Sr. and Elsie Mauter. Carl was preceded in death by his loving wife, Louise (Staggs) Mauter.

Carl grew up and attended school in the Denver area. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1965.He loved baseball and bowling and shared his passion for both sports with his sons and grandchildren. Family and friends were extremely important to him. It didn’t matter if he walked into a room of strangers, Carl would embrace everyone with the same respect and kindness as if he had known them for years.

Carl was survived by his loving children, Steven (Jeanine) Mauter, Daniel (Nikki) Mauter; precious grandchildren, Devin, Haylee, Jayden, Kyrin and Grayson; sibling, Helen (Steve) Kemme, as well as his niece, Rachel (Tony) Johnston.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 11:00am at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant Street in Thornton.
