Brian Joseph Smith

Brian Joseph Smith was a proud son of Colorado, a fifth generation native. The loving husband and best friend of Colleen, dear dad of Hannah (Michael) Bralish, Jackson Smith, and Logan Smith, and best “B” of six little ladies. Survived by three sisters, one brother, and many nieces and nephews.

He was a rambling wreck from Golden tech, and one “helluva” engineer, serving in the oil and gas industry for over 30 years. Brian was well respected and admired by all of his colleagues.

Brian was a talented musician, avid traveler, and skilled craftsman, but enjoyed time with friends and family best. He was always an example of generosity and kindness, to friend and stranger alike, and perfectly captured God’s command to love and serve all.

Funeral services will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Dr., Northglenn, Colorado, on Friday, January 12, 2018. Rosary will begin at 10:30 AM, with Mass to follow at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested for donations to be made to Growing Home Food Bank growinghome.org.
