Billy Hendrix Bass, age 83, of Thornton, Colorado passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022.
A loving husband and father Billy H. Bass the son of Marvin and Eula Bass and brother of Jimmy Bass was born October 23 1938 in Seven Springs, North Carolina where he spent his childhood. As a decorated combat veteran he served his country honorably for over 21 years in the United States Army as a Criminal Investigation Special Agent, working under many presidents who also joined him in his love of golf on the green. A love of travel took him to many courses across the globe, collecting Ts and score cards along the way.
He was preceded in life by his first wife Helga Antonia and loved in life by his wife Mary Lou, children Kathryn, Michael, Cindy, Richard, and John; Grand children Matthew, Toni, Scott , Tyler and Great Grand children Carson and Makayla.
Family has chosen to have a small private military service on a to be determined date. In leu of flowers the family wants to honor Billy’s memory with donations to Wounded Warrior Project.
