In Loving Memory
On Friday, September 27, 2019 Beverly Aldrich, Loving Mother of Lynn, William and Rickard passed away at the age of 92 at her home in Denver, Colorado.
Beverly was born in South Prairie on May 19, 1927 to Hannus and Annie Anderson. With the passing of her parents at an early age she and her older brother Milton were raised by their grandmother Suzie Androsko. It was a poor time, but they all lived life to the fullest by playing in the woods, swimming in the river and eating onion sandwiches. She attended and graduated high school in South Prairie Washington with one of her Life-Long friends, Bob Oneal. One-night Beverly was at a dance where she met William who was in the Army and fell in love. He asked her to marry him Once William got out of the army, they both moved to Eads, Colorado.
She met the Aldrich clan, and took special liking to Beverly Ray. They became best friends, when Beverly taught Beverly Ray to do turn cartwheels and back bends. According to sources their shenanigans lasted thru over 60 years.
Beverly & William moved to Lamar Colorado to start their family, in 1947. There, she gave birth to her first child Lynn. Beverly was a homemaker, had a passion for cooking and always took care of any family member who needed a place to stay and or eat. Soon they moved to Denver and in 1954, their second child William (Billy) Dean Aldrich was born.
Beverly continued being a homemaker taking care of her two children and still having family members who needed a place to stay. We all called it the Beverly Inn.
In 1960, they moved to North Denver, and in 1961, she gave birth to her third child Rickard Alan.
She will always be remembered for having a compassionate and loving heart, a loving woman who would give her all to her family and anyone else in need, or the fresh dinner roll that was thrown at you when it was your first time at a family dinner. All which made her even more special to all who knew and loved her. Her red hair, and smile would light up the world and her laugh became infectious. There are so many more words to describe how wonderful she is.
Beverly was preceded in death by her granddaughter Beverly Marie Aldrich, brother Milton Anderson, husband William Aldrich, daughter Lynn Logan. She is survived by her Sons, William & Rickard, Grandsons, Monte, Mick, Michael and Billy Don. Ten Great Grandchildren and Twelve Great, Great Grandchildren. A special thanks to Melinda Aldrich who took wonderful care of Beverly these past years.
