Anthony Michael Lanyon

Anthony Michael Lanyon, 26, of Thornton, Colorado passed away on February 22, 2011. Anthony was born on October 12, 1984 in Thornton to Edward A. Lanyon and Desiree Ann Arroyo Lanyon. He is survived by his loving parents Ed and Desiree, grandparents John J. Arroyo and DeeDee Lanyon, great-grandfathers Joseph G. Lopez and Bruce Arroyo Sr., uncles Lawrence Arroyo, Rob (Jeanette) Lanyon, Todd Arroyo and Steve Lanyon, godmother and auntie Christina Arroyo, cousins Joseph Lanyon, Johnny Arroyo, Alexandria Arroyo, Lawrence Arroyo, Nickolas Arroyo, Chanda Lanyon, Cody Lanyon and his cousin and brother at heart Justin "Bubba" Lanyon. Anthony is also survived by numerous Arroyo, Lanyon, Lopez and Durham family members. Preceded in death by grandmother Barbara J. Lopez, great-grandmothers Jessie Lopez, Fern Martinez and Dorothy Durham, great-grandfather Anthony Durham, great-great-grandfather Henry V. Lopez and aunts Diana Lopez and Juanita Roybal.

Anthony is a graduate of Horizon High School and the University of Northern Colorado where cherished memories were made with Justin, Jonny, Leslie, Whilly, Rocco, Shawn, Ben, Nick, Manuel, Durr, Corey and the rest of the gang.

Remember Anthony and his beautiful smile. Hold close to your heart all the days you laughed and joked with him and remember what a character he could be. Have a toast in his memory and know that he loved all of you.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 1 at 10:00am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Drive, Northglenn, Colorado 80233.
