Angela T. Morales-Duran, 74, of Thornton, Colorado, passed away into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, December 19, 2020. Angela was born in Denver, Colorado to John N and Margaret M Morales, February 27, 1946. She was one of ten children.
Angela attended Manuel High School graduating in 1964. She met James Duran and married on December 31, 1992. Angela was a professional Butcher/Meat Cutter and retired from King Soopers.
Angela, known to most as Angie had an incredible selfness nature, always doing and thinking of others first. Angie had the ability to make everyone feel valued and loved with her calming demeanor and genuine thoughtfulness. She will not only be missed by her family who loved her deeply, but by all who knew her.
Angie is preceded in death by both parents, sister Delores Morales, and brother John Morales. In addition to her sons Larry and Raymond Mantych.
Angela is survived by sons James and Angelo Mantych. 6 grandchildren and 17 great grand children. Sisters Mary Jaramillo, Juanita (Ernie) Rael, Anita (Peter) Sanchez, Gabriella Ramirez, and Marguerite (Thomas) Escarcida. Brothers Ricardo Morales, and Mario (Louise) Morales.
Viisitation will be held on December 30, 2020 at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 9371 Wigham Street, Thornton, CO. Funeral Service will be held on December 30, 2020 at 11:00 am at Holy Cross, 9371 Wigham St, Thornton, CO. Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will not be a graveside service open to the public. Angela will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO.
