Andrea Erin (Ahlstrom) Martinez, age 66, of Thornton, Colorado passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023 after a long, hard fought battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Andrea was born December 1, 1956 in Denver, Colorado and grew up in nearby Westminster. She graduated from Westminster High School in 1975.
Andrea (Erin) raised 2 sons, Kevin and Casey whom she loved dearly. She worked for the United States Postal Service and retired after 30 years of hard work and dedication. While working for the USPS she met, fell in love then married her soulmate Rick Martinez in 1996. They had 26 years of love and devotion. She and Rick retired together and they along with Rick's family traveled to Alaska, Spain and Italy for trips of a lifetime with many beautiful memories.
Andrea was preceded in death by son Damien, Parents Ronald and Delores Ahlstrom, Brother Ronald Ahlstrom Jr, Sister Debi Tolle and Niece Mikki LoSasso.
She is survived by her husband Rick Martinez, Sons Kevin (Jenny) Martinez and Casey Huffman along with her adored grandchildren Dylan, Jayden and Londyn. Sisters Renee (Lou) Iantorno, Stacy (Doug) Moore, Darla (Jay) Brand. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles as well as many dear friends.
