It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Vivian Malcolm in her home at Amica Bayview Village in Toronto on the evening of March 28 at the age of 86.
Beloved wife of 8 years to the late Neil Malcolm and, prior to that, 24 years to the late Gordon Mauchel. Loving mother of Philip Mauchel (wife Katrina, daughter Tara) and Robert Mauchel (spouse Dagmar). "Littlest" sister of Velma and the late: Earl, Howard, Helen, Ray, Murray, Jim, Lloyd, Jack, and Jean. Aunt of too many nephews and nieces to list.
In a life well lived, she will be fondly remembered by those who knew her as a mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, friend, manager/bookkeeper (especially for the West Ottawa Tennis Club), tennis (and in final years, table tennis) player, golfer, gardener, furniture refinisher, crafter, cook, sailor/boater, snow/water skier, lover of music/art/garage sales and Martinis/Margaritas/wine, traveller, and concerned citizen.
