Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Friday, February 11, 2011 at Ajax-Pickering Hospital in her eighty-first year. Beloved wife of Paul. Loving mother of Cynthia (Fred) Franz and Karen (Mark) Tindale. Proud grandmother of Erika, Kris (Cindy), Eric (Lisa), Danielle and Kyle and great-grandmother of Jordan, Hailey and Jacob. Survived by her sister Helen Stevens. Predeceased by her brothers Alec and Chris. Special thanks to staff of Ajax-Pickering Hospital for care and compassion. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 1-3 p.m. with the service to follow. Donations may be made to the Sick Kids Foundation.
