Peacefully at her home in Mississauga on Monday April 28th, 2008, in her 86th year. Vicky, a devoted wife to Ross W. Hunt who predeceased her on May 3rd, 1995, was a caring, patient and mischievous mother to Bev (who predeceased her in 1996), Patti and her husband John, Nanci and her husband Bob, John and his wife Chris and Dan and his wife Jeanie. Gramie will be fondly remembered by 14 wonderful grandchildren and one great grandson. An RCAF veteran of WWII, Vicky and Ross came home to create a busy life after the War. Throughout her life Vicky was a protector of children and small animals the world over. Blessed with boundless energy, she pursued a number of charitable and community interests. After Ross's death, this included extensive travel in Belize, Central America with SHARE. She enjoyed visiting the SHARE projects she helped sponsor including supplying local schools with necessary supplies as well as toys for the Belize Orphanage. Although an avid Leafs and Jays fan, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren more than anything else. Active and living independently her whole life, she will be missed by all.
