Van is survived by his son Ly Nhat Huy; and his son Ly Nhat Tuan; his brother Ly Kiet Van.

A committal service will occur Monday, August 28, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Highland Hills Cemetery, 12492 Woodbine Ave.,, Gormley, ON L0H 1G0. A funeral service will occur Monday, August 28, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill, ON L4J1W3.
Van will be laid to rest in Highland Hills Cemetery, 12492 Woodbine Ave.,, Gormley, Ontario, Canada.
