(nee Paxton)-Passed away peacefully on January 11, 2010 at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital at the age of 93. Loving wife of the late George Shields and loving mother of Brian(Gail), John,Wendy(Jerome) and predeceased by son Paul. Will be sadly missed by granddaughter Renee. Friends may call on Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital.
