To Susan, Patrick and family: I wish to extend my heat felt sympathy to you and your family on the sudden loss of your daughter Shannon. I remember her as a happy-go-lucky little girl whom I'd see every week when I went over to your mom's house to mow the lawn. She loved her grandma very much and told me so every time we had a chance to speak. She will be missed as I do your late mother and your family since you moved from Willowdale.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We did not know Shannon very well, but she shared many friends and common ground with both my girls at CVMS. I cannot imagine the pain and sorrow you must feel, but please know that your community stands with you in your loss. Her death has touched us all in so many ways, and she will never be forgotten.

To Shannon's parents, Our daughter Jacqueline has been involved with Girl Guides of Canada, 268th pack for three years and has fond memories of Shannon at overnight camp and Monday nights. Jacqueline was telling us of a camp trip when all the girls including Shannon were having a ball, giggling, talking and laughing, and she remembers Shannon to be very sweet, pleasant natured and funny girl. Dear Patrick and Susan, We are so saddened to hear of the loss of your lovely Shannon. She always impressed us with her poise and eloquence beyond her years. She was generous with her hugs and always had a great smile. She was truly the light of your lives. We cannot begin to know your pain, but pray you find peace and healing as you journey day by day with her watching over you. Recently my(Carol's) Dad passed.
