Passed peacefully with family by her side at North York General Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband of 43 years, Marvin Harrison. Loving mother to Jay (predeceased) and wife Rita, and Lee and wife Jennifer. Sandra was the loving and proud grandmother of five very special grandchildren: David, Daniel, Nicholas, Emily and Jacob. Loving sister to Lorraine, Patricia and John (predeceased). She will be remembered for her generosity and kindness, not only to her family, but to everyone she knew. As a retiree of Bell Canada, Sandy will be deeply missed by her lifelong friends. Friends may call on Thursday September 11, 2014 from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Ontario Lung Association and Scott Mission.
