Former City Councillor of 25 years. Suddenly passed at the age of 68, on December 9th, 2008. Lovingly missed by children Lori, Corinna (Doug), Kevin (Robin) & their mother Rita. Beloved Papa Ron to Jimmy, Taylor, Melanie, Joey, Caitlyn, Madison & Amanda. Predeceased by wife Donna and parents Jim and Elsie. Remembered by siblings Jim, Bob (Dianne), the late Norm Summers and countless family and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2008 from 2-5 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel. As an expression of sympathy, donations supporting brain tumour research to Brain Child c/o SickKids, would be appreciated.
