Ronald Frank Moore

Ron passed away at his home in Burlington on March 11, 2024 after a long and full life. He is survived by his three children, Bonnie, Ron (Cozette) and Jim (Sandra), step children, Sharon and Susan, grandchildren Emily, Delaney and Jack, April, and Cassandra, Nicole and Cody, and great grandchildren, River, Everly and Beau. Ron is pre-deceased by his beloved wife Rosemary and missed her greatly during the past two years.

Ron retired from a respected career working for Zurich Insurance. During his well earned retirement he enjoyed watching sports, particularly hockey and baseball, the news, doing his numerous crosswords daily, and searching out the best deals at all the local grocery stores and restaurants.

More recently, after moving to Burlington he enjoyed enormously all the time he spent with his great grandchildren, the kind and generous neighbours and with the local St. Louis crew.

Ron will be remembered as a loving, organized father who never forgot a friend, a birthday or anniversary and was as sharp as a tack.

Visitation will be as follows:

Thursday March 21, 2024 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home - Thornhill

Service to follow 6:00 p.m. Visitation

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Salvation Army.
