It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Peter on Monday, May 24, 2010. Loving son of Kathlyn Irish and the late Dr. Paul J. Irish. Loved brother of Mark, Paul, Eileen, Kathleen, Maureen, David, Margaret and the late Vincent. Brother-in-law of Cathleen Irish, Gregory Rogers, Mark McKay, Gloria Taylor and Richard Vella. Uncle Peter will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and will be missed by his godchild Courtney McKay. All of Peter's friends and relatives will miss him deeply, especially his cousins from Rochester, NY. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 28, 2010 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church (670 Sheppard Avenue East). Private interment to follow. For those who wish, donations may be made to St. Michael's Hospital.
