Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Baycrest Hospital at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Frank for 60 years. Loving mother of Francis (Trish), Kevin (Susan), John, Michael (Suzanne), Paul (Joan), Jim (Joanne) and Mark (Sherry). Cherished grandmother of Meghan, Caitlin, Celidah, Rebecca, Brendan, Luke, Alexander, Mathias, Basel, Ambrose, Carolyn, Jacqueline, Kathleen, Christopher, Elizabeth, Claire, Katie and Jack. Predeceased by her parents Patrick & Mary Leech and her brother Maurice. Will be missed by her dear sister Mary Eileen and brother-in-law James. Special thanks to her caregiver Merlyn Navarro. Much appreciation to Dr. Kirzner and the staff of Baycrest for their compassion and care. Friends may call on Thursday, July 5, 2012 & Friday, July 6, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 7 at 10:30 a.m. at Church of the Good Shepherd (21 Simonston Blvd). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
