Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, September 10, 2011 at St. Michael's Hospital, at the age of 71. She will be sadly missed by her son's Paul and Peter and their father Josef. Dear mother-in-law of Diana. Adored Grandma of Sophia and Nicholas. Beloved sister of Lily Nair and Auntie of Chrishanthie (Prins) and Suhasini (Thasan) and Great-Auntie of Nicholas and Mathusha, her God-Daughter. Mary Jo will also be fondly remembered by all of her many friends and former colleagues. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon R.C. Church (92 Steeles Avenue West, west of Yonge). Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
