Passed away on July 30, 2010 at the age of 84, at home, suddenly but peacefully. She brightened the lives of all that knew her with her vibrant, sparkling and glamorous personality. She will be greatly missed by all. She was the beloved wife of Ernest for 61 glorious years, the devoted mother of Barbara Kennedy, Kathryn Surina and Kristina (Kiki) Kaufman, the loving mother-in-law of Michael Surina and the cherished grandmother of Drew, A.J., Adrienne and Alysse Kennedy, Matthew, Jacqueline and Cassandra Surina and Cole Kaufman. Mary is survived by her dear sister Frances Horvath. Visitation to commence on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 from 7 - 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street). A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary R. C. Church (32 Sheppard Avenue East). Interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.
