Margaret Neil Oxby

Commander Douglas Oxby, D.S.O., D.F.C.,D.F.M.,RAF, (Ret'd) following 41 happy years together. Mother of Helen Ray and JoAnn Preston, she will be sadly missed also by grand-daughters Mindy, Katherine and Sasha as well as two great-grandchildren. Meg also had many friends in North York where in the 1970's and 1980's she played active roles in both the provincial and federal Conservative parties. In recent years her near neighbours and friends Evelyn Dewar and Nancy Sasan will miss her friendly smile. Friends may call on Saturday, August 11, 2007 from 12 noon at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Meg has requested to be cremated. In lieu of flowers donations, donors are invited to honour Meg's passing by making contributions to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
