Margaret Elsie Handley

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Margaret Handley announces her peaceful passing on October 1, 2014 at North York General Hospital at the age of 84. Beloved wife of 63 years of Arnold. Loving mother of David, Lynne (Ian), Susan (Stuart), Robert (Denise) and Stephen (Diane). Loving Nana of Scott (Evelyn), Jeffrey (Eugenie), Allison, Andrea (Michael), Kyle (Brooke), Stephanie, Katrina, Nicholas, Matthew, Jennifer, Karen and Kris. Sadly missed by her cousins Colin and Moira Cranmer in England, her many nieces, nephews and special goddaughter Jane. Lovingly remembered by her special friends and those in the Women's Group at St. George on Yonge Anglican Church. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses on 5SW, the Freeman Group and the Oncology Palliative Care Unit at North York General Hospital. A funeral service will be held at St. George on Yonge Anglican Church, 5350 Yonge St., on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 11 a.m., with visitation from 10 a.m. Interment York Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated
