I would like to echo the sentiments that my mother offered, and express my own personal condolences. I also have very fond memories of the times we spent together in Bagotville and in North Bay. I remember the thrill visiting the Caseys, drinking Coca Cola out of tiny glasses and munching potato chips. We always felt very welcome there. Tim and Sheila; I was very sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I know this must be a very hard time for you having lost both mom and dad in a short period of time. I am thinking about the friendship our families had. I can truly appreciate it now that we have families of our own and have those same friendships where we raise our kids together. Your mother was a very kind lady and I remember her as being very good to me. I remember getting Sheila's Barbies and all the clothes that I think your mom made. Sheila, Tim & Families Our sincere condolences to you and your families on the loss of your mother and your childern's grandmother. We had a wonderful 30 year friendship. First as neighbours in Ottawa. Then the exchange of letters, phone calls and the past 10 years we have met at the RCAF Airwomen reunions. Although we never had the opportunity to meet your Mother, the obituary in the Globe and Mail gave us glimpses of her vitality and far-reaching interests, experiences and passions. On behalf of the ex RCAF Airwomen Reunions group I would like to pass on our condolences to the family. Margaret will be sadly missed at our next reunion in London in June 2009.

I am going to miss my dear friend Marg so much. Even though there were many months between our connections we always picked up from where we left off. I met Marg when our husbands were posted to Stn Bagotville. We lived on neighbouring farms and our children played with each other. Marg was the best neighbour anyone could ever have. Our families shared many a meal and always Christmas. Sometimes New Years too. We drove to Chicoutimi nearly every Friday to shop taking along the kids with us. There was always a treat for the kids. There was no one that I knew who could make something out of practically nothing. She could take a pig's ear and make a silk purse. Her home was always spotless, dinners were always delicious and hospitality was second to none. My sympathy goes to all of her family who will miss her dearly. She was so proud of them all.
