Mabel "Betty" Elizabeth Kendle

Betty passed peacefully with family by her side on November 5, 2022, at Cedarvale Lodge in Keswick, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Frank Kendle (2008). Betty is survived by her children Louise, Jim, Jean (David) Lamont, Frank (Laurie), and her grandchildren James (Brandy), and Thomas Kendle, Jay (Kimberly), Lynn, Kara, and Kate Lamont. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, and friends.

Betty’s door was always open, and she was happy to prepare a meal for any two-legged or four-legged creature who dropped by.

She enjoyed many crafts which included sewing, knitting, cake decorating, and furniture refinishing, but in her later years quilting was her passion. Betty was an avid quilter who spent many hours at the quilting frame making quilts for her family. Those who knew Betty also know that she enjoyed spending time with good friends over a game of bridge.

The family would like to express deep thanks to the staff at Cedarvale Lodge for their compassion and excellent care.

A private service will be held by the family.
