Passed away peacefully with family at her side on January 12, 2020. She is survived by her daughter Darlene (Larry) and her granddaughter Paige. Linda will also be deeply missed by her mother Bernice, sister Donna, and sister-in-law Carol. She is pre-deceased by her father Sidney.
Linda was a dedicated mother and grandmother, who always did everything she could for her family.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Lola and Dahria, her personal support workers, who cared for her for many years. Lola was not only Linda's personal support worker - she became a very dear friend to Linda.
A Commemorative Gathering will be held in Linda’s honour on Monday January 20, 2020 between 4-8 pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, North York.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Linda’s memory to the Hospital for Sick Kids.
