Kerry Ellis Bristow

Unexpectedly on Monday, May 15, 2017 at the age of 51 at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital. Beloved son of Glen and the late Gladys Bristow. Dear brother of Bonnie (Michael Worrell) and Robbie and proud uncle of Arden and Perri. He will be fondly remembered by his extended Munro and Bristow family and many friends.

Like his siblings, Kerry was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba before moving to Montreal, Goose Bay (Labrador) and then finally settling with his family in Thornhill. His sociability was a testament to his life. He had a love of all things Scottish (naming himself, “Angus Munro”) and was an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs along with the latest downtown musicals and shows. Kerry had a wonderful sense of humour with a quick wit, a deep knowledge of local and national politics, and made people comfortable at any occasion with his joking manner.

Friends may visit at the Jerrett Life Celebration Centre (www.JerrettLife.com), 8088 Yonge Street (South of Highway 407), Thornhill on Tuesday, May 23rd from 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 140 Brooke Street (Centre and Yonge), Thornhill, on Wednesday, May 24th at 11 AM. Reception to follow at the church. A private interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice in honour of Kerry.
