Katherine Mary Bardwell

Passed away peacefully on October 7, 2008 at Southlake Regional Health Centre at the age of 92. Loving wife of the late George. Dear mother of Georgina and her husband Pete Cotnam, Linda and her husband Bill Jackman and Dianne and her husband Dominic Augurusa. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Derrick(Kimberly), Shawn(Nancy), Laura, Elizabeth, Paul(Sabrina) and Stephanie and greatgrandchildren Jessica, Nicole and Autumn. Survived by sisters Rose Santagato and Betty Papalia and sister in law of Louis(Mary) Bardwell and Margo Bardwell. The family would like to thank the staff at Sunrise of Aurora for their care and dedication and the nursing staff at South Lake Regional Health Centre for their compassion and support. Friends may call on Thursday, October 9, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church(670 Sheppard Avenue East). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
