Juan Rabara Rabena, 80, passed away peacefully at the Humber River Hospital on February 20, 2016. Juan was born on May 23, 1935 in Sta. Catalina, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. Juan is survived by his loving wife, Trinidad Rabena, his six children, Reynaldo, Vergie, Roger, Claudio, Rizal, and Cherry; his eleven grandchildren; two sisters, Charing and Lilia, and many friends. Juan involved himself in many meaningful endeavors during his life. While he impacted many lives as a councilman back home in the Philippines, he lived a simple yet rewarding and fruitful life as a farmer. He also had a great appreciation for politics and orations. Above all, he will be remembered for his old-fashion humor and cheerful spirit.
