Born April 16, 1921 and passed away at Humber River Regional Hospital -Finch Site on Sunday September 7, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Alison for more than 70 years. Loving father of Joseph (Kim), Gary (Maria), Maryann Francis (Frank), Teresa Lilleberg (Paul). Dear grandfather of Tina and Angela Battaglia, Jessica Gossner (Shane), Adam Battaglia, Ryan francis (Jane), Sara Francis and Scott Lilleberg. Great-grandfather to Jasmine, Kouper, Jaxen, Harper, Jordan and Charlie Alice. Joseph will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 10, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday September 11, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday September 12, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Roman Catholic Church, 75 Churchill Avenue. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
