John Anthony Watson

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at York Central Hospital at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Lu. Devoted father of Bob (Linda), Katina (John), Paul (Victoria) and Brooks. Predeceased by his son Jim (1983). Proud grandfather of Alison, Nico, Matthew, Therin, Shae and Chandler. Predeceased by his granddaughter Heather (2006). Survived by his sister Geraldine.

John was a highly respected Senior Vice-President of Human Resources at National Trust Company and later a Consultant at Murray Axmith & Associates, retiring in 1993.

Friends may call on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 3 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church (39 Green Lane, Thornhill). Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Fatima Centre.
