Jack was my first boss from when I left school. I was so nervous back in November 1980 being only twenty and so niave and new. I went for an interview in the Interiors, Engineering departmen at DeHavilland. Jack was so positive and appreciative of me in my interviiew. He talked in a very calming and nurturing way I felt comfortable immediately. I was employed at DeHavilland for twenty years.



	If it wasn't for Jack I would not have met my wife of twenty three years and many good friends.



	Jack was a big part of my life and I will always be forever greatful for the effort he put into me being what I am today.

Dear Betty and Family: Thinking about you all at this difficult time and sending my condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May you find strength and comfort in knowing that others are lifting you up in prayer and most of all that our Triune God is holding you in the palm of His precious hands. Take comfort and strength also in the wonderful hope and promise of Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday and all that the Lord has done for us His dear children. Jack is no longer suffering, but is at home rejoicing in the presence of His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

To the Swann family. I want to pass on my sincere condolences to you on the loss of Jack. Jack was an absolute gentleman and wonderful work colleague. I had the pleasure of working closely with him in the 1990's in the early days of Bombardier, and we shared many a trip together to Montreal as we worked to set up CRJ interior design support from Toronto. There were many difficult days during that time, as well as many a laugh - he had such a wonderful sense of humour. I wil always look back fondly on time sepnt with him. My memories of Jack when I started working at de Havilland were of a kind , knowledgeable person. He was always available if you had questions. He will be missed. My condolences to the Swann family. Vito Lopiccolo

I had the pleasure of working with Jack at de Havilland/Boeing Canada for quite a number of years. He was a true gentleman in every regard. God bless him. Walt

I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Jack at Dehavilland over many years as the Dash 8 went into service. He was a senior design engineer and I would go to him about various technical issues that needed resolution. He was always approachable and a gentleman with a genuine desire to seek solutions. However, what often started out as a technical discussion ended up being an exploration of our human condition and I always left feeling better after our talks, and I cherish those memories of Jack. Please accept my most sincerest condolences.

	Jack, the picture that hung in your room at the apartment, showed a plane in flight, you were so proud, and



	well deserved, when you tried to explain your innovative invention to a novice trying to understand.  You just lit



	up everytime you showed me the picture.  You helped me talk to my father about the WW11 planes and you



	related some of the same stories, thank you so much.
