Passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at The Village of Taunton Mills, Whitby, at the age of 91. Predeceased by his wife Olive (Ollie) after 63 years of a good married life. Loving father of John and his wife Marilyn and Joan and her husband Ian Marshall. Grandfather of Brad and Angela and great-grandfather of Alex. Survived by his sister Josephine Webber and brothers Harold and Anton. Retired Texaco Canada Inc. employee for 41 years. Friends may call on Monday, May 21st from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 22nd at 11 am in the chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
