John Barron

Suddenly on Sunday August 20th, 2006 at the age of 51, while visiting family in Derry Northern Ireland. John was a 29 year veteran of the Toronto Police Service. Loving father of Sarah, Amy and Sean. Cherished partner of Janice Ellis. Adored by Kimberley Ellis. Loving son of Sarah Barron and the late John James Barron of Derry, loving brother of Robert, Mary Rose (Patsy) Durnin, Ann (Seamus) Ferguson, Pauline (Eddie) Bell, Noeleen (David) Underwood, Lucia (Jim) McCarron, Elizabeth Barron, Eibhlin (Owen) Rafferty. Will be sadly missed by nieces and nephews. The puppies will miss ?Dad? at cookie time. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday August 28, 2006 at 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church (650 Sheppard Avenue East). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Children?s Wish Foundation.
