Peacefully, on Sunday December 7, 2008 at Royal Victoria Hospital, in his 80th year. Jim is now at rest and reunited with his beloved wife Alma. Loving father of Jim, Steve (Jackie - predeceased), Lynn, Bruce and Suzanne (Lorenzo Morandini). Cherished "Grampa" to Jeff, Alex, Wayne, Danielle and Cassi. Jim will be missed and lovingly remembered by his sisters and brothers extended family and friends.
Friends may call on Tuesday, December 9, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Paschal Baylon Roman Catholic Church (92 Steeles Avenue West), Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie - Cancer Care Centre Fund.
