I worked with Jack on the Northlander many years ago. He always made me laugh with his comment - Not bad for a girl... Jack was true gentleman and will be missed. My condolences for your loss.

Dear Chan family, Our hearts are so sad and heavy for you at this time. We want to express our deepest sympathies for you at this time. Words are so empty at a time such as this. Your husband, dad,brother, uncle, and grandpa, Mr. Jack Chan was a precious man and we have lost a great man. He was such a loving and caring man and a well respected man, and he will be greatly missed. We were so blessed to have known him. It's a promise from Our Creator. I lost my mom in 2010, and Paul lost his dad at a very young age of about 9, and he just lost his mom to cancer in May this year. We have also felt the sting of death. Our hearts are with you. Our loved ones aren't in pain anymore. They are just waiting for that special day when God will wake them up again ..when He will come back with his angels, and will blow His trumpet... and the dead will rise again...
