Passed peacefully at the Humber River Regional Hospital. Beloved Husband of Gail Armstrong. Son of the late William and Mary Armstrong, dear brother to Isabel, William (Irene), Richard (Marlene) and the late Margaret and Roberta. Survived by his dear children Cindy (Bo), Sandra (Glenn), Gary (Tanya), Wendy, Brad and Scott. Dear grandfather of many and proud great-grandfather to his great-granddaughter. Uncle and friend to many more. Retired employee and pressman 42 years with the Toronto Star. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 23rd from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. at the R. S. Kane Funeral Home 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). There will be light refreshments afterwards in the hall. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated in lieu of flowers
