Helen Low

Passed away peacefully at North York General Hospital on Friday, August 9, 2013 in her 92nd year. Born in Paisley, Scotland on July 16, 1922, as the eldest child to parents Samuel Hamilton Low and Elizabeth Cronin Low, Ella devoted her life to the well being of her parents and siblings; John, Mary and Jean. Ella's commitment to her catholic faith was reflected in her love of life and huge heart. Ella loved to play bingo, fill out crossword puzzles and watch soccer. Ella will be sadly missed and always remembered by those who had the privilege to know her. She is survived by her loving brother John Low, sisters Mary Colquhoun Vallee and Jean Adam, along with nephews Robert Low, Gerry Colquhoun and nieces Betty Pazzano, Brenda Wells, Jane Low, Sandra Adam, Gwen Low, Elizabeth Adam and Margaret Goldberg. A Funeral Mass will be held at St Pascal Baylon Roman Catholic Church, 92 Steeles Ave West in Willowdale at 9:30AM on Tuesday, August 13th, followed by a reception at the Church. The Burial will be conducted at Holy Cross Cemetery, 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lung Association in her name.
