It was nice to see so many out to support Anne and Jeff and to remember Grant. It was clear his passing has touched many people. He will be missed but the memories will live on.

Pete and I have many wondeful memories of our visits and lunches when my parents came to visit. The last one just a few weeks ago is the most precious. Another very special one is of Uncle Grant reading the poem for my Dad’s 80th birthday in our backyard.

Dear Aunt Ann
We are sad at the passing of Uncle Grant.  There are early memories of family visits at Pop and Grandma's cottage and recent memories of a birthday celebration here in Calgary.  He will be always missed, always loved and always remembered.

Sincere condolences on Grant's passing.  

We remember fondly our times together in Petawawa.  One evening a handsome man in uniform knocked on the door of our little stone house.  He explained who he was and that your family was moving to Base Petawawa.  We all enjoyed our times together after the move.  Ann, we still talk about the delicious meal of Chinese dishes that you created just before we  moved back to Nova Scotia.

Traveling the back roads of Nova Scotia with my Uncle Grant & Aunt Ann was one of my favorite vacations ever! River John, the Cabot Trail, lots of good food and adventure, including exploring the base where they met.
He & Aunt Ann were always up for a trip to Boston for a family gathering.  
Uncle Grant was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.

The great times we all had at Grant’s Mainly Contras Club will be with us forever. For me, Roger, it was a privilege to share the stage prompting Contras for those many years at the Club. Thank you Grant.
