Passed peacefully at home with her children at her side July 19, 2013. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Francis. Loving mother of Betty Anne Drapeau (Claude), Jim (Beverley), Jeanne Laviolette, Gerald (Colette), Thomas (Sharon), and Irene Dufour (David). Cherished grandmother of Claudine (James), Andre (Shawna), Byron, Jamie-Lind (Evan), Joseph, Thomas, Renee, Michelle (Bryn), Bryan, Kaitlan, Rachelle, Donovan, Chantelle, William, Ellan, Graeme, and great-grandmother of Elise, Tyler, Samantha, Justin and Owen. Survived by her loving sister Olive Asselstine. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Sadie Oliver, Thomas Hibbert, Charlie Hibbert, Leo Hibbert, Dorothy Matt, Ethel Lonergan, Irene Hibbert, Evelyn Hibbert, Mae McCallum and Jack Hibbert. Special thanks to the spectacular support of the Freeman Centre Palliative Care (North York General), in particular Dr. Amanda Li and Virginia Clark Weir. Thank you to all other personal support staff, especially Nora, Pamela, Selina, Nelda, Rosemary and Irina. Visitation will be held on Monday July 22nd from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday July 23rd at 10 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church (3220 Bayview Avenue, north of Finch). Interment to follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Georgina, ON.
