Giovanni Mazzoli

Passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 2, 2013 at the age of 75.

Beloved husband of Amelia of 50 years. Loving father of Luisa (Mel Domingo) and adoring Nonno to Julia and Daniel. He will be missed by his best friend Snowball the dog. He is survived by sister Adriana Filipin, nephew Cristian, niece Monica in Maniago, Italy and by his mother-in law Augusta DiMarco, sister-in-law Daniella (Armando Serafini), cousins Giovanni and Angelina Del Tin and their children Pino and Romano and their families. He will always be remembered as funny and generous (and as a P.I.T.A.) by his family and friends.

Friends may call on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 6-9pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 11am at St. Paschal Baylon R.C. Church (92 Steeles Avenue West). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
