It is with sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Lawrence “Gerry” Gross on February 9, 2020 at Seniors’ Health Centre in North York. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janet, his sons Larry (Kat), Robert (Amy), and Jeffery, and his granddaughters Chrissie and Maggie. He was pre-deceased by his parents Marie and Lorenz Gross, and his brother Bill (Elizabeth).
He will be remembered for his love of chess, books, the study of history, religion, and politics.
Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home 6150 Yonge Street, North York on Friday February 21, 2020 from 10-11 am. Funeral Service will be held following the visitation at R.S. Kane Funeral Home on Friday February 21, 2020 at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Gerry’s honour to the North York Seniors’ Health Centre, Willowdale Emmanuel United Church, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
