Just saw this beautiful obituary and picture of Uncle Frank. I'm sending my deepest condolences to you and the family. I have such good memories of Uncle Frank and his sense of humor. The last of the Kennedy brothers. Holding you all in my heart during this sad time.  💖🙏

Dear Mrs. Kennedy and Family,
When we read the notice of Mr. Kennedy's death, we were transported back to memories of our parents, Pat and Greg Hoy, and the wonderful friendship you all shared for so many years.  They were both very fond of both you and Frank and always spoke so highly of you and we were very appreciative of your kindness to both of them when their health failed and they moved to Bowmanville.  We have many happy memories of our conversations together and remember Mr. Kennedy as a kind and gentle man, so devoted to you and his family.  Deepest Sympathy, Monica and Paul

Kathryn and I offer you our expressions of sorrow on the loss of Frank. We too spent many hours at Sunnybrook with Kathryn's father, where the care was always full of real, loving kindness.  
I am sure that not a day will go by now, without Frank still being alive in each of your hearts and minds. 
If one measure of a person can be said to include all that has been done for others, then Frank's memory will stand very tall; you and your children and their families are all testaments to his hard work, generosity, faith and love.

Frank was a thoughtful generous person and had a kindness to others that few have.  Although I never had the opportunity to know Frank for much of his life, the time I did know him was very meaningful to me as we together worked on many common goals.  The discussions we were able to have to and from curling events covered a broad range from family, politics, club, relationships and desires to assist and help where needed.  He was a leader that worked to make things that he cherished, successful.  He will be truly missed.  One of a kind.

To the Macdonalds loosing Frank is like loosing a family member - he was always the cool Uncle. 

We did not know Frank for as long as we would have liked but my Dad , Richard Ratcliffe , and Frank became quick friends when Frank moved into Sunnybrook. I too , got to know him during visits with my Dad and was delighted to share time with him and loved that sparkle in his eyes at each meeting !!!
Unfortunately, Covid shortened all out time together but please know that he will be missed in the halls and the dining room at Sunnybrook ( we had many lengthy discussions regarding soup !!!) 
My Dad and I send our thoughts and prayers to the family and know that we are will you in spirit.
