
Knights of Columbus Council No. 4393-After a lengthy and valiant battle with cancer, Frank died at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre on Monday, September 1, 2003, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Mary Therese (Sullivan). Devoted father of Dr. Frank, Cathy (Fred) Fulton, Terry, Mike (Debbie), Anne (Brian) Griffin, Patty and Gerard (predeceased infant 1960). Papa will be fondly remembered by his loving grandchildren Daniel, John, Rory, Robbie, Tom, Julia, Christopher, Colleen, Emma, Brenna, Steven and Liam. Frank also leaves a sister Loretta and brother-in-law Ronald Brand of Peterborough, ON. Predeceased by his sister Mary O'Donnell. Frank was instrumental in the growth and development of Catholic Education in Toronto through his role as superintendent of Buildings and plant with the Metro Separate School Board from 1961 to 1986, a period of unprecedented growth in school construction. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 5, 2003, at 9:30 am at St. Edward the Confessor Roman Catholic Church (75 Churchill Avenue). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Right to Life would be appreciated. The family's appreciation is extended to Doctors Ping Fun Choy and Albert J. Kirshen.
