Suddenly yet peacefully, on Sunday October 25, 2009, at Toronto East General Hospital, Ernie beloved brother of the late James (and late Kathleen) and Anna Lenshyn (and John) and husband of Susan. Loving uncle of Stephen (Alida), Joseph (Catharine), James (Joan), Katherine Rethy (George), Judy Compton (Howard), John Lenshyn (Kathleen), and Kathleen Reid (Geoffrey) and great-uncle to their children. Long-time waiter and manager at George's Spaghetti House and The Pickle Barrel. Happiness found with his special friend Margaret. Wonderful friendships and many shared jokes with Fred, Dan, Harold and the other residents and exceptionally caring staff at both New Horizons Tower and Cardinal Ambrozic Houses of Providence. Memorial donations to either are appreciated. Family and friends are invited to gather at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St at Goulding south of Steeles) at 11 am Saturday October 31 to share memories together. A funeral mass will begin at 12 noon followed immediately by Enichement at St. Mary's Cemetery Mississauga (Port Credit).
