Emma Nesbitt

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Bay Ridges Long Term Care, Pickering, at the age of 89. Emma is predeceased by her beloved husband Desmond, son Jeffrey and grandson Michael. Loving mother of Charles (Karin) and Daryl (Joanne). Cherished Grandma Emma to Mathew, Ryan, Madison, Taryn, Cameron and Nicholas. Dear aunt of Denise LeBlond-Bayer (the late Ian) and son Desmond. Predeceased by mother Rosa, father Alexander and siblings Monica, Regine, Serrie, Cecilia, Jophy, Zachary, Fremmie, Mattie, Anthony and Rosemarie. Emma was adored by all her nieces and nephews and will be fondly remembered by her family and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 8th from 5-8 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 9th at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Covenant House would be appreciated.
