Elsa Maria Dalla Rosa, nee Pedrazzoli passed away peacefully in her 100th year on August 19, 2020. For over 63 years, she was the devoted wife of the late Gino. Loving mother of the late Sergio (Anne) and Leo (Gianna). Caring and devoted Nonna to Julia (Alex), Lisa, Sara (Justin), Daniel (Lisa), Laura (Stavros) and David (Katrina). Cherished Bisnonna to Naomi, Peter, Marcus, Vivienne and Emilia. Her 2 brothers Elso and Elia predeceased her. Elsa was born on July 17, 1921 in Vicenza, and lived many years in Asolo, Treviso before immigrating to Canada in 1952. She was an accomplished seamstress who took great pride in her work, whether for clients, her family or herself. Her extensive wardrobe was noticed by many, and she remained fashionable well into her 80's. She was known for making family pyjamas and quilts for Christmas and her love for her family was second to none. She was quick, efficient and could whip up a delicious family meal in no time. She could sew, knit, crochet, cook, and bake and was also a very strong and independent woman. She was appreciated and loved by many and she loved her family with all her heart. She was very devoted to God and the Church and was an active parishioner at St Paschal Baylon Church . For 10 years, she was a resident at Villa Colombo and appreciated the help and care of the personal support workers. She had suffered and overcome many hardships during her life, and always with a smile. May she rest in peace as she now joins her beloved Gino and son Sergio, and others in
heaven. The family would like to thank everyone for their support and in lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice is appreciated.
Visitation on Sunday August 23rd from 2 - 6 pm at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. Mass will be celebrated on Monday August 24th at 9:30 am at St. Paschal Baylon Church, 92 Steeles Ave. W.
